Science Hill Community Church is welcoming and friendly.  Our church family enjoys fellowship before and after worship services, sometimes with refreshments.  Seasonal activities include game nights, movie nights, fall festivals, covered dish dinners, and block parties.  Relationships of encouragement and support help us all strengthen our spiritual lives!

Science Hill Community Church adheres to the Bible. Our congregation’s decision to become an independent Christian church stemmed from our commitment to the Bible as God’s Word for life today. Whether through preaching, teaching, or evangelism, the Bible remains at the center of our faith and convictions.

Science Hill Community Church values children and youth. Children serve as acolytes, helpers, card-makers for shut-ins, and have their own “Kindness Club” to share the love of Jesus. Teens lead an annual Youth Worship Service, assist on service projects, and are working toward a week-long mission trip in the summer of 2018. The church supports children’s and youth ministry with part-time staff positions for both.

Science Hill Community Church is prayerful.  We have a dedicated prayer room just off the sanctuary, in addition to prayer chains by telephone, email, and text.  Each year we find a special way to celebrate the National Day of Prayer.  For those interested, we also organize annual prayer partners for the church family to help us pray for one another.  Prayer is very important to Science Hill.

Science Hill Community Church is connected to our neighborhood.  We actively support Marlington Local Schools as well as the Alliance of Churches.  We look for ways to serve our community through helping to build Habitat for Humanity houses, working at the Alliance food pantry and community dinners, and financially supporting several local charities.
